in Freudian theory, gender identity is aquired in the ______ of psychosexual development?
A. anal stage
B. phallic Stage
C. oral Stage
D. latency stage
a(n) _______ oreintation refers to a cognitive focus on "getting the job done"?
A. expressive
B. androgynous
C. stereotyped
D. instrumental
i think it's phallic stage and expressive orientation because the person expresses they need to get it done, it's what they call the intrinsic motivation, where they perform for their own sake.
Perhaps Freud had an obsession with sex.
Well, this would be a guess based on my A-levels...
But I'd say 'latency' for the first one, although it depends on whether you class gender identity as instinct or taught. Nonetheless, in the latent stage they'd begin to understand it, and thus understand whether they're acting within their expectations.
As for the second one, I have no idea. I'd guess 'instrumental', because the person only thinks of the tools they need to get the job done - and thus the instruments.

Nevertheless, Freud is part of the history of psychology, hence the questions on the test.
