Hello Im Deanna
I was AMAB and Im in my mid 40s.  I've been questioning my gender seriously over this past year.  Not sure if I am a mtf, cross dresser, non-binary or what, a lot of exploring and introspection going on right now.  So far I have only told my partner, and a close girlfriend (my bff) about all this.  Well I guess all of you too now.  (haven't even posted anything to online until just now)

I have lived most of my life assuming I was just (overly) sensitive guy who connected more with feminine gender roles than the ones people expected of me.  Probably always had feelings but had a good lid on them, but a few events happened in the last 2 years that set something off.  Now my eyes are opening.  Not sure why it has taken me so long to start this journey and not sure were its going to eventually land, but I am getting more sure every day that its not going to end in the place I assumed I started from.   More on all this later as I have a lot of questions.  Im scared, excited and very confused.  I am just gratefull there are online communities like this.

Hello Deanna,  I am not trying to hijack your very first thread and post...
... but first things first,  since your are brand new here I am going to give you a warm welcome.. 
Thank you for coming to the Forums.

I am glad that you have taken the step to become a member of Susan's Place and that you have shared your  thoughts with other members that may read your posting.
I am thinking that you may lots more questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances.
