@TiffanyShanahan You will be looking for at least a 12 or perhaps a 13 in women's sizes... good news about the sandals they are not closed toe so you might be able to fudge the size a little with a more available women's size 12.
Good Luck to you finding our sizes and styles. Perhaps another member reading this thread can come up with specific suggestions you asked about.
Hugs,
Danielle
I bought a pair of sandals from Birkenstock. The style is called Gizah. I only wear a 10 but I know they go up in size quite high. They aren't particularly girly. Just a dresser alternative to a flip flop. But they come in different finishes and some are quite girly.
Check them out, also the whole Birkenstock range. They have sandals that are more fashionable nowadays.

Have you tried Zappos? They let you filter by size and there seems to be a decent selection in larger sizes, at least up to a 13. Many are plain but some are quite girly.
Shopping in person, I bought Birkenstocks, and some sandals from Payless. Online, I have bought from Long Tall Sally.
Thanks ladies
Love the new avatar pic Danielle
Always such a wonderful smile
Try Walmart or Target. You'll probably find good ones there.😉
I have size 14 feet and so I have to improvise. I can spend megabucks for some trendy sandals or get some Sketchers sandals and order some rhinestones. get the glue gun ready and glue sparklies all over. I just went to Shipwreck beads and will be decorating my sandals tomorrow.
I like Walmart, Kmart, Amazon and eBay. I'm not sure about Kmart for shoes but they have nice close. I did buy a pair of cute silver thongs sandals from eBay but the inside strap was so long that I couldn't keep my heels on them when I walked. So it can be hit and miss. Oh yes, also try JCPenney's.
I wear a 12 women's and have difficulty finding something cute that fits and doesn't require a 2nd mortgage. My favs this summer are from Merrill and Teva. I got them from Bass Pro Shop of all places!
Anyone have a good guide for comparing mens to womens sizes? not just in shoes.

One suggestion I could offer is go to a place that you trust and they can size you there as far as shoes I think it's women size are like a half to one size higher than men's or at least that's been my experience with the women shoes

You're going to be looking at about a 13, so most stores aren't going to carry them. Walmart and the like typically stop at 11. I'm in a similar position so believe me, I feel your pain.
Shoeshow, payless, and some of the sporting goods stores like academy are sources that have worked for me in the past.

Shoe carnival might be worth looking at as well

Looks like they stop at a 12 for sandals. Worth a try since there's some wiggle room as Danielle pointed out.

Wow that sucks I've not had a problem finding shoes I wear an 11 so I got right there at the line guess I'm extremely lucky I love these ones I got at Wal-Mart they are real leather $10 and super cute I did have to put another hole in it because I didn't feel it fit tight enough around my ankles though. Yep, your feet stopped right at the correct spot. There's always something in the 10-11 range, and something in the 5-6 range but since the bulk of women have feet in the 6-9 range it's always sold out.
And then of course there's the poor saps like myself shopping for 12 or 13, it's not a whole lot of fun to be honest but it's far from impossible.
so the person that asked about sizing, I can help you with that if you want....I actually took measurements recently because I wanted to have a guessing range for shirts, shorts, pants, dresses, swimwear, and the like. shoes...I was a mens 8.5 so I ended up at about a 10-10.5 in womens(brand dependent) so I think I got lucky. anyway, send me a message if you need help figuring out any sizes at all.
Love,
Lilly
Look at Torrid dot com. I've bought shoes from them as they go up to size 13. They have a terrific return policy too.
I wear a men's size 10 to 10-1/2. I fit well into women's size 11, depending on the brand. Some women's brands can run a little larger, so I would fit into a women's size 10-1/2.
I'm an 8-8.5 in men's. I find I need to go up to a 10 in women's. I have fairly wide feet so that may play a role in my sizing. I got lucky with the smallish feet!

I'm a 10.5 - 11. Heh. I am now finding out how hard it is to find shoes for women with larger feet...

I bought clothes from Torrid, they have a really good range and everything fit really well. I have also been looking at Modcloth (https://www.modcloth.com) they have some great styles :-)

I mostly wear US. men's or women's size 10 (264 mm), but for high heels I choose size 11 or 12. AliExpress.com is a nice place to purchase big sizes online, but the delivery time is far longer and varying.
barbie~~
I just found a good on line site for large wide shoes its Justfab.com. great selection and price.

Nice! I just realliezed I need to go up a half size in my ballet flats. I tried to wear them yesterday but could only go about a half hour before my toes started going numb. Thanks Debbie. I'll check them out.
Hugs,
Donica.
It always pains me when I hear girls post recommendations for stores that always stop at 11 at most. However there is a good website that will search all online sources for larger sizes. (10-16). This site is Isbyshoes.com.
