Hello everyone ... I posted a question somewhere else, and apart from getting some very kind and helpful replies (which I really appreciated) someone suggested I stop by the introduction forum ... (I think this is it) ...
Anyway, not much to tell really, except to say that I would really love to be a woman so so much!!!
Well Hello Hon,
I'm Cindy the Forum Admin and I live in Adelaide in South Australia, which explains why I'm awake and the rest of the staff aren't (most are in the USA).
I'm not sure where you are in the journey but talking and asking questions is always a good start. I see you asked about removing makeup, so I presume you tried some and were frightened of getting caught out!
Very understandable.
So tell us a little about yourself. There is no reason at all to reveal anything private.
I'm Australian, gorgeous and have a large hole in my neck that I breathe through. I like photographing and studying spiders. Pretty average really!
Hello, and yes you are on the introduction forum.🙂
I hope your transition into a female goes well.
Cindy,
yes I really want to dress up some time and go out - and longing to so badly it aches. At the moment I am checking out some awesome wigs ...

Well the best way of getting a nice wig is going to a wig shop. They are very use to TG people coming in.
If you are thinking of buying on-line a word of caution, be careful of very long hair wigs, they are very difficult to maintain and tangle quickly and can be very difficult to comb out.
thanks ... yes i am looking online there are some awesome ones ... i don't want too long ... i just think maybe too short might draw too much attention to my face?
That is where a stylist in a shop can really help. They can see your face for what it is, which is a different view than you can see.
Don't make the mistake of 'glamour' unless that is what you are wanting to achieve. For everyday look at what women your age have as hair styles, aim for girls with your facial structure and see how they have their hair.
Look at magazines as to how girls make a look.
Hello; I'm Brenda from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I'm 57 and I've CD'd since I can remember. I've had 2 failed marriage due in large part to my desire to be female and have fathered 5 children. I am now ready to become the woman I've always been on the inside, outside. I anticipate a call any day now from a health clinic I was referred to by my GP, as I've been on a waiting list for month's. I sometimes think I should be more excited about it; however, a) it is the natural, logical next step and b) the wait has allowed the idea to sink in. I present in public as female although I should probably dress a little older than I do. Who cares? I'm young at heart. I hope to visit often and send warm wishes to all here for a safe and happy journey.
Hugs,
Brenda

@bdw61 Dear Brenda: Thank you for coming to the Introductions Forum and following the LINK that I gave to you on the other thread that you first posted on where I sent you a Welcome Message a few days ago on July 23rd..
Now that more members will know that you are a member you can hopefully get the answers you are seeking and sharing with others about issues of interest to you.
Oh, another thing... please be certain to look over the informative LINKS that I included in my Welcome Message to you... pay particular attention to the LINKS IN RED. They can answer most questions that our newer members may be asking.
Thank you again for joining Susan's Place, and WELCOME.
