Title: An Anniversary
Post by: HelenW on December 30, 2007, 05:15:52 PM
Two years ago, yesterday, I got on my new computer and sent my first post to Susan's Place Forums, which began like this:
QuoteSix months ago I was surfing and decided to look up "transexual" after seeing a TV program about it.  I've been a CD since puberty and I was interested in the subject from that angle.  Among the sites I visited (Susans.org is one of the best, imho) I began to notice stories that were remarkably similar to my own life experiences.  It was then that I had my own "epiphany" . . .

Wow, what a change I've undergone in the past two years.  I'm grateful that I'm still alive and doubly grateful for all the help and support I've received here.  Even if the support was indirect it made a big difference.

Thank You, Susan, and Thank You to everyone else who have created such a wonderful site with your work and your thoughts and your encouragement.

Oh my gosh, Steph, I think we both have, and thank you!  I still read your posts to see what may be in store for me up ahead and I've felt that I've followed you in many ways.

Let's keep going!
