 Hello from the UK...
I have to be honest, I'm feeling pretty isolated here...
I have just joined the forum in the hope that I might be able to find some kind souls who are going through the same sort of thing as I...
I'm a shy and sensitive type who has spent most of life knowing something wasn't quite right but never putting all the pieces together until my 40s. I have been on my hormones for 3 months now with the aim of gradually transitioning away from M to F but not quite sure how far down the road I'll ever get.. or whether I might chose to hop off the train somewhere on the way... who knows... all I know is that I'm enjoying the journey and already feel better for it.
I would love to know if there is anyone in their late 30s-40s going through a similar thing in the UK - I'm lucky to be with an understanding CIS partner but it would certainly be very nice to hear from anyone in the same situation who is in the UK - preferably towards the south west.
Hugs.. Danni.
Welcome from a Blackpool girl, I started transition at 32, now 60

Hello and many thanks for making me feel welcome.
I really hope I can find someone nearby as I feel surprisingly isolated here despite having a supportive partner and friends - I suppose its different when you're going through it yourself and those around you have little experience or perspective on the matter.
Would be nice to meet someone sweet and understanding who is a little further along with their MTF journey - so far I've only managed to exchange a few words with a small handful of trans women right at the other end of their adventure and I almost get the feeling some of them would rather forget their transitions.
There must be more of you out there somewhere... any nerdy ones too?? ::)
