OK, this may sound weird, but 4 nights out of the last week, I've awakened myself in the middle of the night by playing with one of my boobs while sleeping. Everytime, I'm always laying on the same side facing the same direction so it's always the same boob.
I started HRT several years ago and had to stop for almost 2 years. I'm now around 8 months back on them and I've never done this before. I will say it not only feels good, it also feels affirming like my brain is going "yes, that's a boob!"
Is this normal or am I just weird???

@JenAtLast As far as I am concerned, what you described is completely normal.... back in pre-transition days, I would bet that other bits were played with in the middle of the night!!!!
This is all new, and enjoy your journey as you have been doing.
Again...
not weird!!!
Hugs,
Danielle
Just as normal as waking up with a grip on any other parts. Happens to me nearly every night. The only thing better is to wake up finding your bedmate holding them!
I have to say that being able to play with my own boobs is one of the great positives of transitioning. :) Not weird at all.
Sounds normal and encouraging to me. My breast have become the most sensual part of me and I am not on HRT yet. This is encouraging too.
Don't worry, it's probably normal. Sometimes I wake up clutching one of my limbs or my pillow. People tend to flip around and grab things when they are sleeping. Most of the time it's because they're dreaming. 😴

I keep dreaming I will awake to someone grabbing one of those things you mention.

Not in my sleep but at my last doctor's appointment when she asked me if I was doing the breast cancer self exams i said not specifically but my hands are on them often enough that I'd notice anything wrong.

If you don't want your dreams I'll take them! Sounds better than my dreams lately.
