I have been told things like mood swings, increased hair growth, temporary loss of boobage size, weight gain but we all react differently...I have gotten very moody on the couple of times I have had to go without....but you know what they sat...YMMV. You may well not experience anything significant...I hope you don't. ;D

For myself, I felt weak and very moody like Liz mentioned. I felt like a "Nobody" which is hard to explain and is a very weird feeling. The excitement of finally getting my surgery helped get me through not having the Estradiol and gave me a new appreciation for that hormone as well! You will do fine! If I can do it anybody can! Best wishes honey and please keep us updated. It's always a pleasure to see another Sister complete her journey! We are with you all the way dear! ♥

Ok i think the weight gain wont affect me much as im a weight lifter and in the gym alot and also on a pretry good diet regime. Boobs should stay as they are fake.
But mood swings, bizarrely i heard mood swings and hot flushes is something you get when you go off. Something must of been wrong with my hormones. As i always have mood swings. And hot flushes :/

@isa86 Well... this is very exciting news, I am sure that you are absolutely jubilant about getting your surgery underway. Waiting till that day is now the hard part.... along with the prep... laxitives!!!! ughhh, that is a heck of a way to lose weight.
Let's see, you wrote your post, the one that I am quoting here on my reply, on September 13th, so that means, if my math is correct that your surgery date is September 27th on a Thursday. I will be keeping you in my thoughts on your "V" day and I will continue to follow your thread and any other posts that you make around the Forums.
Wishing you success in this big phase of your transition journey.
Hugs and well wishes, as always,
Danielle
Thank you Danielle, yes its the 27th 8 more days. And yea im not looking forward to wednesday next week...bloody laxatives. Thank god im not starting them till 2pm. As i have a full leg wax and mani and pedicure in the morning and need to jump on tge sunbeds too. So stressful morning.for time in hospital i still have 7 seasons of friends to watch and 6 seasons sex and the city 😏 sll downloaded on to my phone. My hospital bag is allready packed. Bought new nightys and loose fit knickers. And extra toiletries. Also face masks in a sheet form that dont need washing off. And hand masks that come in forms of gloves hahaha . If im resting i might aswell use the time like spa time ...spa time with pain hahaha
4 days out, and im really getting scared :/
It's understandable being scared I think most people are whether they admit it or not I know I was. But you'll get through it the surgery is the easy part the recovery is the hard part. But if you focus on taking it one day at a time and focus on healing you will get through this. Best of luck on the 27th and welcome to the rest of your life. :)
