After what feels like an eternity my goals to get grs are moving. After an unexpected delay I am cleared to see one finally person before I board that plan. With the bugs I am getting in ear it looks like I am able to get it around March. Now I am smiling.
There is one fear I have, and that is time of healing. I'm a girl who will be moving to her own apartment within the nxt month and am working full time hours and both my work and place are in a tiny town far from much.
There isn't a single doubt for me as far as is it right or what I want, not even one doubt. Anyone here who has known me from my early days and talks to me should know. I most certainly know and have for some time. My fear is how much time do I need to take off of work for a successful recovery. I'm an experienced cook at a casino atm. How long is healing and how much time should on take off?
@SailorMars1994Well now, this is very exciting news coming from you. The hard part for you now is waiting for 9 months.
Healing time varies widely depending on the exact surgery and on your own unique body. Barring any post surgery difficulties most individuals will be quite functional in a month or perhaps 2... but of course the best answer will come from your personal doctors. When you talk to them again, be certain to tell them the kind of work that you do and what physical abilities are required.
All we can do here is guess and give you rough estimates... your doctors are your best source of the information that you are seeking.... but the good news is that you have lots of time to ponder all of this and get the answers you are seeking.
Oh, and if you have followed my threads, for sure you know that I can identify with your statement:
"...working full time hours and both my work and place are in a tiny town far from much." Please continue to keep us posted... your followers are a curious bunch and we want to know so we know how we can support your with our thoughts and cyber-hugs.
Hugs and well wishes,
Danielle

Your probably talking 4-6 weeks. You will probably be weak at first and uncomfortable. You should ask your surgeon about weight limits as your may be doing some heavy lifting at your job. Another consideration is you dilations schedule. Doctors vary on how often and when you can reduce dilation schedules so ask the office what the doctor requires. All of these factors need to be considered in determining when you can return to work.
