Title: Proper Introduction to Elle
Post by: Sabrina Rei on August 23, 2018, 07:08:52 AM
What's up? I'm Elle. I used to post here a couple times but didn't feel comfortable coming back until I had started HRT proper which I have now. I just had my 1 month tranniversary so, yay!

I'm married to a beautiful woman and we have a precious and precocious 7 year old girl. Transitioning in my early 40s but I've been out of the closet for years to all but my employer and my mother.

I work as a TV editor on a popular local food show in the NY Metro area and I'm a huge movie and video game lover.

Happy to share this journey with y'all.

Hey Elle!

Congratulations with your first month )

I felt the same before, it may seems it isn't much appropriate to do something here before hrt, but it is not true. I forced myself to talk with people and I never regret :) We all have our questions, worries, doubts and experience and I found it important to share it with others not only for seeking help but also for people who can learn something from it. Anyway it's good you feel yourself comfortable now :)

@Elle's bells
Dear Elle:
I see that you were already officially welcomed here by our beautiful California girl  @Jessica  and myself a couple weeks ago on August 6th on another thread that you posted on.

Thank you for coming to the Introductions Forum to help other members here know of your arrival and share details about yourself.

You will find that there are many members here that have similar issues and have transition stories as yourself.
Enjoy your time here on the Forums and get involved as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
You may even find that you will make new friends here as you share and have give and take with other like-mind members.

Please closely look over the important and informational LINKS that Jessica posted on her welcome message... you will also find them on the Welcome Message that our sweet member  @V M   just posted here on this thread.

Pay particular attention to the LINKS IN RED, you will find answers to most questions that new members have.

Thank you again for joining Susan's Place and for posting your Introduction here. ...

OH, and CONGRATULATIONS on your ONE MONTH HRT anniversary.... certainly worth a celebration.  I will be looking for more update posts from you as you continue in your journey.
Hugs,
Danielle

Hi Elle 🙋‍♀️ Thank you for joining in on the Introductions Forum.  It is a wonderful way for other members to recognize that you are a new member, giving them opportunity to say hello, members like @Alaskan Danielle @Kirsteneklund7 @sandigurl99 @Vesh @V M
We all are here to support each other.

Congratulations on your 1 month tranniversary!
Just knowing that you've started on a path that you have dreamed of, is enough to cause a change in attitude and thought.
When I started, apprehensive joy is what I experienced.
I felt calmer dysphorically within days, but with increased emotions.

Hugs and smiles from a California girl
