It's actually been a pet peeve of mine, as nearly every gay man I know smokes. Five of my six gay neighbors do at least, which drives me CRAZY, since I live in a condo and can never leave my patio door open on summer days without my home being filled with their smoke at some point.

There has been a large effort to make events like the parade smoke free, the bars etc, have been smoke free for over a decade now, with no drop in clients, though most have some sort of smoking area, which, people even on occasion can be seen to be smoking ciggs, but my nose tells me that's not the most popular smoke.
