Hi,
I recently received confirmation from someone, who is knowledgeable about FFS, that I have a slightly elongated face, which I first suspected a few months ago. Almost a year ago, I had jaw reduction, but it didn't do much, if anything, to feminize my face and to address its verticality and squareness. I feel the squareness and verticality are my main lingering masculine facial attributes. I have wanted further jaw reduction, but I'm now questioning whether a revision would accentuate these attributes. I do not want to have a very narrow face.
None of the surgeons I have consulted for a revision have raised the Long Face Syndrome issue. Are there any other FFS surgeons, besides Dr. Deschamps-Braly, who I have an upcoming appointment with, that perform Le Fort 1 Osteotomy to address long faces within the context of FFS? My insurance and I are currently in negotiations with the office of an accomplished FFS surgeon to perform my revision. My main purpose for a revision was to have further jaw reduction. But I have to rethink getting that procedure.

I think you are very pretty (you could be my wife's cousin's wife's twin!)
Have you considered you simply have an oblong face shape? It is generally considered to be attractive and desirable. I had fat transfer done to restore cancer surgery on my face and it has made me quite "cheeky." Perhaps that might be an option to consider for adding visual width to your face, or a hairstyle that flatters an oblong face?
