Title: Hair removal around vagina post-op
Post by: kellb on September 03, 2018, 08:26:57 AM
Hi all,

I'm very pleased with my Suporn-brand vagina, 9 months post-op.  However, it has now been long enough to find out that I've got a whole bunch of hair growing right at the base of my vaginal opening, such that during dilation and sex it gets pushed up into the canal.  It's less than positive fun.  My natural response is "burn it - burn it all!", or at the very least zap it with electrolysis.

Does anyone know if it is safe to get electrolysis done on vaginal tissues post-op?

I wouldn't think there is a problem as long as your completely healed. Normally this would be somewhere around a year after surgery however if you have granulation, sometimes it could be longer. It would be best to have your doctor verify that you can safely handle electrolysis before you attempt it.

Ta!  I've healed up really well so I'm pretty confident I'm up to it.
