As I read the various threads on facial surgery a question comes to mind. While only a Doctor may be able to answer I will throw it out.
I have a ( not sure what to call it) condition where my skin marks easily. Therefor scars can take several years to fade. IE I had a scar on my forehead that I received when I was three. it was visible even when I was in my 40s. I can still see a scare I received when I was 5 on my right hand. I am 53.
Would I have problems if I had facial surgery with scars? I don't want to look like the bride of Frankenstein.

You would need to discuss this with your surgeon however incision placement tends to be where they don't show. Forehead work is in the hair line, nose work is inside the passages and chin work in the mouth. Depending on what you are considering, there might be an incision in a place where it's visible so you need to weigh the advantage of that procedure against the possibility of a scar that shows.
I think you should find out the medical name for it and ask a surgeon.
One of the common procedures is a type III forehead contouring to remove brow bossing, and there's a big incision across the forehead at the hairline. I think that would be bad if the scar didn't fade. Facial Team do it across the top of the head, or at the back where you can't see it.
I had FFS 2 weeks ago and there's no visible scarring. It's in my hair, in my nose and in my mouth.

Surgeons warned me about scars at the nose - the decision whether to do a relatively simple rhinosplasty (nose job) or add a lip lift to that. Depending on method, a minimal rhino involves a tiny incision between two nostrils, not very visible even if there's a scar. A lip lift involves an incision all the way across the lower edge of nose. (I've heard a few surgeons do a lip lift further down, I wouldn't want that). My surgeons hid the lip-lift incision mostly inside the nose but there was still a risk. If you have a tendency to scar a lip lift might not be worth it.
For forehead bone work I had the coronal incision (hidden further back where a hair band would go), very happy with that. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. A hairline incision is more common, many people come out just fine but that has higher risk of a visible scar.
My surgeon did a closed rhinoplasty so all through the nostrils without any scar between the nostrils.
