Title: Blessed Again
Post by: DawnOday on September 13, 2018, 09:52:26 PM
Once again I've been blessed with a solution to health problems that is going to give me more time. My sweet voice therapist Emily and I had our last visit today. I haven't seen her in about 6 weeks because of all my other problems.  As we were talking she noticed I had problems swallowing. Lo and behold she is also the person to see for this malody and so I have at least one more visit with her. She has been amazing these last two years and I have a lifetime friend. If I were thirty years younger. Oh well. She is so sympathetic to our gender dilemma.
She is so encouraging. I have told her more about me than anyone has ever known. Yet she lets me jabber on.  She was Cum Laude at UW. and since she is so smart I can have conversations that are so interesting. As I walked out she gave me a big hug. Unfortunately our conversations are only 45 minutes at a time.  I have found myself wanting to fudge that several times. If any of you have Kaiser and live in Seattle / Tacoma you would do well to have her as your voice/ culture coach.  PM me and i will give you the particulars. You will be so happy you did.

Too bad I'm just starting voice therapy at Kaiser, but in the SF Bay Area.  Recommendations can be vital for success.  I'm hoping for the best.
