Title: UK Trans* healthcare
Post by: Megan. on September 29, 2018, 02:20:34 AM
Apologies if this has already been posted, but a very interesting document suggesting that trans healthcare in England will likely see some major change and hopefully improvement over the next few years.

This document looks both promising to me, and also finally identifies that many trans people do not seek surgery,  but do require effective medical support.

Thanks for that Megan. I will give that a good read before my 2nd surgical referral appt next Wednesday. It may contain new info that I can discuss.

I think it's only proposal stage at this point. It indicates a timescale of a couple of years following some pilot areas. - it will be interesting to follow where those are.
