It's been forever since I been on here it feels. Anyways life has just gotten too busy but better! I'm still at the job I told you about last time, the other line cook up and left so I i not only work full time but over time to the tune of 50 plus hours a week. All in all this is good because now I can save up for surgery! Yes, my two health officials both signed off and I am to hear my surgeries dates in the coming weeks. I took the unorthodox move to request a orchi before the vaginalplasty. I know that dr. Brassard makes grs patients go off all hormones for three weeks prior to surgery and I honestly don't think, for my own mental sanity I could go that long. Last time I was off hrt for less then a week once and I felt the horrible feelings of t coming in. The orchi will be done in Winnipeg then I am off to Montreal sometime after that for my vaginia to be complete and whole :)!!
Naturally I am excited as heck. I just got my own place, a new relationship , a worthwhile job and now my outside will be complete!!
Have a great day all!!
Hey!
It's so great! Congrats! :)
@SailorMars1994 Wow, certainly a wonderful update, thank you for getting back on the forums to share this good news with us
That is terrific news about your job.... lots of hours equals more pay.
Not unusual at all, I have found that a good number of transitioners opt for an orchi and then ponder going for a vaginalplasty. ... one step at a time !!!
You have every right to be excited... your new place, a new relationship, a good job, and now your planned surgeries!
Life is good!!!
Please feel free to keep us all updated regarding your future surgery dates, we are your biggest fans and we want to follow your journey progress.
Hugs and well wishes,
Danielle
Hi,
I was off E for 3 weeks before and I thing 2 weeks after GCS. I was off spiro 2 days before the surgery and no need afterwards. You may ask if you can stay on spiro. Also, explain your issue with how T makes you feel and your past issue. I recommend always being up front with the Doctors staff and express your fears and need for accommodation. No telling what they will say but it may help.
Awesome news on the job and personal front.
Yay! Thanks for the update, Ashley. It is great to hear that things are going so well for you. I am so happy to hear that you will soon have your surgery date.
That is great news!
Good for you! ;)
Such an amazing update hon.
You deserve it :)
