Post by: lills01 on October 03, 2018, 06:34:27 PM
Hi! I'm Lilly, and, i'm a mess  :D I'm 17 and have yet to start hrt, though i definitely plan to in the future. My family is less than wonderful, and generally just choose to pretend i'm not transgender. It's a whole struggle, but, i've got big plans in moving out in the next year, and i'm wanting to get started legally transitioning asap  :D Also I love writing and music and acting n stuff, and, thats basically me  ;D

Oh, and another thing Lilly:
Just before I let you have your posting back so that other members will know that you are new here and can comment on your posted thoughts.....

When you were welcomed earlier today on the other thread that you first posted on, @KathyLauren and myself had no way of knowing that you are a younger member at 17 years old.   You have 2 options on Introductions Forums that you can introduce yourself to all the other members on Susan's Place Forums.
You have obviously arrived here on the Introductions Forum (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,8.0.html)  which is for all members.

You can also introduce yourself at the Youth Introductions Forum (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,544.0.html) and be more able to find other younger members that you might more easily identify with...   your choice..

Enjoy your time here on the Forums, I trust that you will find this an enjoyable and informative experience.
Best wishes to you.... and again, Welcome to Susan's Place
Danielle

Hi Again! Nice to met you, Lilly.

We all struggle during this process I think, and I'm sorry to hear about your family. However, disregard sometimes turns into acceptance in these situations, so don't give up on them just yet, but, that being said; you always have to be YOUand its always special to me when someone decides to come out and do just that. As long as I'm around here, I'm happy to add to your support. I know from experience that it takes courage to be who you are in a unsupportive environment, and you demonstrate quite a bit of that. :)

Oh lovely Lilly,

We're happy that you've found us and we hope that we can provide some knowledge and experience that can help you in life.  There's a lot of us at Susan's who have gone through a lot of things, so explore a bit and see what you find.  Susan's Place is wondrous -- and even more now that you will be here sometimes.  I mean where else could you possibly find a female Clint Eastwood?

  Love,  Caroline

Hey Lilly!

That's great you realise who you are in young age, HRT will be more effective :) Though don't rush things until you'll be sure you're in safe position because you should be ready to lost everything. It won't neccessary go bad, but you know it's better to be prepared. Hope everything will be good for you :)
Welcome here :)
