Okay so this is the first pic of myself that I've decided to share on here. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks, good or bad. :3

@Reyes: Red Hair explosion!!! It is long enough to do all kinds of pretty feminine styles with it.
I love to see redheads.... they are some of my favorite people here on the Forums.
Thank you for sharing and posting your very first picture.... for many, that is a big and brave step. Thank you for being brave enough to take that step.
You look nice in your picture BUT
if you put a big smile on your face that would go a long way to making you look even "more nice"
Just sayin' ....
Thank you for letting us all "see" you, I will eagerly be looking for more of your posts and picture as you feel comfortable doing so.
Wishing you well,
Danielle
The only issue with this picture that I see is that you look so sad. Smile, girl! You're finally being yourself! You have some pretty nice feminine features there to work with, btw. :)
(Granted, I'm one to talk; I almost never smile in pictures, I prefer the mysterious side-glance or what my friends call my 'resting bad*** face'. ;)

Pretty much this. ^^^^^^^^
I don't offer people much makeup advice, but I do know that a smile is the best cosmetic we have.
Reyes,
For being on Estradiol for only 16 months, you are way ahead in the transition race. It took me about 3 years before I was properly gendered by most people.
As for smiling, when you feel like smiling, that's when to take a picture. Nothing is more fake than a forced smile. As you can see from my avatar, I am the expert on a serious look photo. I do occasionally smile, but a genuine smile when operating the camera just confuses me and what you see is what I looked like at the time the picture snapped. So maybe just a smiling emoticon will have to do. :)
Oh I have ones of me smiling, I just really liked that one, hehe
And honestly people still think I'm a guy unless I tell them otherwise. It doesn't help that I just can't seem to get the hang of changing my voice.
