Hey sisters and brothers! I havent posted here much recently,, but tryin to be a bit more active in these forums!
My name is Jessica....a 30+ yo "crossdresser" (from SoCAL USA) who might consider "coming out" in the future as MTF transgender.....but currently still in the closet and presenting as male :embarrassed:
i have been practicing speaking with a more 'feminine' voice, using various phone recording/pitch analysis apps (i.e. 'Voice Pitch Analyzer") and I wanted to see how you folks felt about my 'progress' so far! (the Voice Pitch app said my vvoice is approaching 180hz, which is getting closer to a more feminine pitch/register)
i've linked 3 small voice samples of me just pretending to order a pizza, pretending to do a podcast, etc.

appreciate any feedback!
The 3rd one is the best... not quite there yet, but very close.
My voice therapist is having me use the EVA voice app. It's only available for newer apple iPhones (6 or newer) and iPads. It teaches that 230 Hz is the starting pitch and then raising to higher frequencies while speaking. My voice breaks at about 300 Hz, but 230 Hz isn't difficult at all. Staying there just takes practice. A lot of practice!

Voice is just practice. :) An App can help as it gives you a reference point, but pitch isn't everything. The best test is simply getting out there and using it. The more you do the less self conscious you feel and the better you do.
Il try that app I think although I have a high pitched voice already and regularly get referred to as miss, madam, love etc on the phone.
