Post by: deedeeyoung0909 on October 15, 2018, 05:05:16 PM
Hi my name is Dee Dee  Young. I'm moving to Phoenix Nov 2.  I'm just having a hard time of finding resources. For one I don't know where I'm going to live. I'm on a monthly income.  I was trying find a shelter or transtion house.  Some where to stay until I find apt. I know some shelter do not accept transwomen. I been through this before. Just need help to be guided in right way. Just resources that will help my stay in Phoenix  to be a pleasant one.  Please help a newcomer

Welcome to Susan's Place. I am not sure about temporary shelter however if you google "apartment finders phoenix" you might be able to find what your after pretty quick. As far as medical help, there are a few doctors in the area treating transgender people and most of the services you might require are available somewhere in the valley.
