Hi my name is Natalie.
I transitioned back in 2010 and had my SRS in 2011.
I'm here to get and give support because dysphoria strikes even when fully transitioned. For instance I've had to deal with grief of being unable to have kids of my own.
I'm not the best with introductions so hi. :)
Welcome to Susan's Place Natalie, and thanks for joining! I'm sure an official greeter will be along soon...
The voice of experience helps out everyone. As you mentioned, sometimes we all need someone to talk to even long after we transition. There are many things we will never be able to do, but we can still enjoy the gift of living the rest of our lives as the person we were meant to be. Love always -- Jessica Rose

Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome.
I don't know if the dysphoria can ever perfectly be eradicated but for me it's pretty much gone. Their are natal woman out there going through the same thing I am regarding children. I try not to focus on it too much.
One bit of good news. After being out of work in November and falling behind on the bills I have finally caught up enough to afford to get back on HRT. A year is a lifetime to be off and I am very thankful to be back on and what's more to have the job I have.
