Title: Things put in holes I wasn’t born with
Post by: AnamethatstartswithE on November 08, 2018, 05:41:02 PM
That's right, I got my ears pierced... what did you think I meant?

They were super nice, and despite being very close up to me I passed, that was the most surprising thing of all.

I'm a big girl now 😉

Congrats on both counts or does that make three?
Hey wait ... did you just say you were happy about getting holes in your head?

Hugs,
  Laurie

Congratulations! I bet it is even more exciting that you passed. They are ALL up in your business when piercing!
I love earrings. They have always screamed woman to me. Maybe because they were taboo as a kid.

Now you get more options to accessorize with outfits!

Hugs,
Lacy

P.S. I tried to click on the link fast so my mind wouldn't go to crazy places before reading what you meant! Tricky girl.

Congrats...

ear piercing seems to a like a right of passage for us t-girls, i suppose it something that can help us pass and still be acceptable as a male..

For me, after starting to shave my legs and get my ears pierced, I sort of felt more female, even though I was not full time yet.  Now I have 3 holes in each ear.

Awesome!  Once healed you're gonna love 'em.  Be ready to open that purse and let the cash flow.  You're gonna find it hard to pass by any earring display without looking...and buying.  LOL

When I was a kid my mom gave me her odds and ends clip on earrings to "play with".  I got 'em all when she had hers pierced.  I remember when I asked my wife if I could get mine done.  That was over 6 years ago.  She didn't say yes or no or let's talk about it...she said do you want to go to the kiosk at the mall, Claire's, or to an independent piercer.  And off we went!  It's one of those things I wish I had done sooner.

In case y'all were wondering, I did them at Claire's. The kiosk at the mall looked kind of shady, plus at this point going as girly as possible is a freedom I now get to enjoy.

Nice! Until I can have my ears pierced, I'll have to settle for my clip-on earrings, can't wait for the real deal :)

Wooo Hooo!!

Although I have shaved my legs since Jr High School, I just got my ears pierced 6 or 8 weeks ago. I too am really sorry I didn't do it back in Jr High School.  ;D

And, I have found it nearly impossible to not touch the stupid things, in spite of all the warnings to the contrary. It's just so fun to think they are pierced!!

Maybe advice: Think twice about replacing them before 6 weeks with the hoops you have been coveting. Let the tunnels form/heal. And, when you look for hoops, find ones with a straight post instead of a curved post. Your delicate new tunnels will appreciate that.

More maybe advice: have the new earring backs NOT come up tight against your ear lobe. You want to increase blood flow in the lobe to promote healing, not constrict blood flow by exerting pressure on the lobe.

I am so excited for you!!

I can't get my ears pierced due to blood thinners but I have found some clips at JoAnnes fabrics that allows me to make my own clip on's that look like pierced earrings.

Those are very pretty! I definitely wouldn't have guessed clip ons!

Oh great, thanks a lot for the thread title. Now I'll think of my earrings as another thing I have to dilate every day. ;)

I mutilated my poor ears about a week ago.  If I don't touch them, it is OK, but I used to rub my ears once in a while (some kind of stupid habit I have).  Boy, does that hurt!  I am retraining myself now not to rub my ears again!
Getting the ears pierced did not make me feel more feminin than before.
But there is hardly anything on my body that I can use to get a more feminin feeling. I don't need to shave my legs, chest or arms, I was born hairless.
My entire transition has to happen in my head at the moment.  I think once estrogen kicks in fully, the changes that will happen to my body might get that kind of euphoric feeling towards a more feminin body (than I already have)?

HA!

More Trans humor!

It's good I did not have milk or anything else in my mouth when I read this...

Kendra, I nominate you to consolidate it all into one location, and then to publish it. I promise to buy 10 copies -- if you will sign them too...

;D

Had mine done at Clair's, you will need a BIG jewellery box. Wait till you put your first dangly ones on.

I know, luckily I have until spring before that happens. I don't really care for makeup, but I do like jewelry, so this should be interesting.
