Hi,

My name is Heather and I am the S.O. of an AMAZING partner. I am cis and she is trans. She suggested I join Susan's Place.

I am a trauma sensitive yoga teacher and I run a yoga program at our local LGBTQ Resource Center. I also teach safe space yoga classes designed for trans women.

Hello Heather, glad you decided to sign up here.  I'm new to Susan's Place also and I'm probably here like you in search of info, finding friendship, and hopefully, down the road, be able to help others.  I've got a long journey ahead as I expect you and your partner do.  I hope you two have a wonderful life, learn from each other and grow closer to one another every day.

Hi Heather. In case you haven't noticed, I want to assure you that SOs are welcome here, whether you are the perfect model of support, or a melted puddle of despair, or anywhere in between.

I look forward to reading your stories of how you and your partner celebrate who she is, how you think through and respond to challenges,  and how you deal with trauma.

I began studying/ practicing yoga when I was 12, and am very glad to have that resource. I'd love to read more about your classes and practice.
