Hello Folks.
You probably guessed from the topic that there's another OZ resident on the forum. Clever people here.
I'm an ancient relic of the mid 1950's who was CD in secret for a number of years but, due to a little prostate problem and an open minded doctor, I am now transitioning M/F and although hetero I'm excited by the prospect as well as a little nervous.
I've embraced the transition fully and of course have no idea of what the future holds. That's exciting!
I have been living enfemme 24/7 for the past few months with none of my reasons for nervousness materializing as yet. Nothing negative to report. I'm sure there will be moments and equally sure I will cope. I now see my most likely challenge coming from the ups and downs of a second puberty in my 60's. That was hard enough to handle the first time. anyway only 1 week into the HRT so all will be revealed over the next 4 or 5 years I suppose.
Enough about me for now. How are you folk all doing?
Cheers
Kay
Hi Kay, I live in the Northern Territory- great to see a fellow Aussie here.
Also I'm doing well and I'm a bit jealous you get to live fulltime!
Look forward to catching you on the site!
Regards, Kirsten.

Hello Kay, very nice to meet you. You sound very happy about your transition and that's what is most important. It's never too late. I'm older than most and even though I started late in life I'm so happy I finally decided to move forward like yourself. Hope to hear more about you and your journey as you move along toward the real you.

Thanks for the welcome Susan.
I would be interested if you were to share some of your experiences or perhaps point me to where they may already be.
I think the meds are already kicking in earlier than I had anticipated. Result: I'm recalling feelings and events of my very young life, some of which I'm uncertain are fact. All are based on fact but, the feelings attached to those recollections may not be exactly what I felt at the time. I'm going to need to find out how and where to start a blog to keep track of this.
Regardless, it's nice to meet a fellow late starter.
Cheers
Kay.
