Title: Incontinence
Post by: StealthStilettos on December 07, 2018, 02:19:56 AM
So super embarrassing, but I've peed myself a few times now since I've been on spiro, is this normal or should I consult my Dr.?!?

I had a few accidents on Spiro, too. That's one reason I was happy to get an orchiectomy. I'm old enough to be back in diapers again, but I don't want to be in them!

Oof, I've had this problem sometimes also.
Devlyn's solution is a thought to be considered, though it might be as simple as getting used to spiro as I have.  It isn't such an issue for me now, but I do keep an eye out for the ladies room wherever I go.

I've had a few little incidents post-op as well.  No spiro, just the plumbing changes and getting used to them!

Restroom awareness is important for everyone, particularly as we age.  The relatively sudden medically induced changes can take a while to adjust to, and accidents can be more likely while we re-learn things.
