Title: How (Not) Boyish Were You This Week?
Post by: Ryuichi13 on December 17, 2018, 11:19:07 AM
There is a thread called "how girly were you this week?," which is a place that you can talk about all the NOT-girly things you have to do in Life.  So to quote CoffeeDrew:

This is the opposite of what you think is it.
This is a place to post things we all dislike talking about, but we still have to do it in our lives.
It will also show we are still humans even though we prefer to present a certain way.

The goal is to post the opposite of what people think.
This can be anything. You can follow the title or make up your own.

My partner went back to work this past week after two months off for hip replacement surgery so I had to cook dinner.  I'm disabled, so since I  was home all day, I did it.  I HATE cooking.  I'm good at it, but I get no satisfaction from doing it.  I'll keep doing so, of course but still....  :-\

And now, I'm literally taking a break from washing and dyeing my hair, which takes all day because I have dreadlocks.  I'm sure I'm not the only one that literally couldn't go out because "I have to wash my hair" was their excuse!  ;D

I love your counter thread. Hope your partner recovers quickly and three cheers for hating cooking. Have a nice holiday, Ryuichi! :)

Thanks Moni!  Happy Holidays!

Okay, I admit it.

One of my nails broke, and I fussed over it then filed it instead of cutting it off like I normally do.

Ryuichi

I usually don't want to spend time preparing a meal, I just want to eat, but once I get started I enjoy cooking and the end result is surprisingly good :)

I don't have dreadlocks but if I want my hair to look half decent it's a long procedure so I usually don't leave the house that day :D

I decided to work from home today as I wanted to sleep in a little because I stayed up late to wash my hair and to shape and paint my nails. :D I don't really enjoy doing my nails as it's a pain in the .... to do it right but the result is worth it.

I'm not FTM but I'm presenting as male at work, my dyed hair and my shiny and feminine shaped nails are a little strange combination with the supposedly male presentation.

I cried for at least 2 days because when I did dye my hair it came out the wrong color and I did not like it so that it became the debate of shaving my head bald or not and after crying on this subject for couple days and getting opinions from several friends how do you say just keep watching it over and over again till the color faded to a more pleasant color

If you can't accept yourself,  how can you expect others to accept you?
