Do you prefer sleeping in a nightgown or pajamas or ?
I prefer a flannel nightgown, and I like some of the Eileen West gowns.
Eileen West also has the Lanz of Salzburg line and the Queen Anne's Lace line.
Linde, you might enjoy some of the gowns in the Queen Anne's Lace line.

Typically I'm either nothing but underwear and a tank top or I'll throw some yoga pants or shorts on if it's cold. Though I do have some cute chemises I'll wear if I'm feeling luxurious lol

@ChrissyRyan:
In the winter I like to wear flannel PJs and if it gets really cold I have
been known to sleep in my sweats top and bottom ... and wool socks.
In warmer weather I have lightweight cotton PJs...
....also perhaps light cotton loose fitting shorts and a light cotton tank top.
Danielle
In the summer I wear nothing, and in the winter I wear shorts and a t-shirt.
I remember that many moons ago, nightgowns were in for men, too. And I had a few. I hated them, because in the morning I had the entire thing rolled up underneath my arms, I like lace, yes, but not as nightgowns!
I wear pjs to bed and when it is cold turn on the mattress heater. In the summer time it is tank tops and shorts
Clean bed linens are the most comfortable nightgown for me.

I never had a nightgown roll up to under my arms. Were you tossing and turning a lot in your sleep?
Chrissy
I have a waterbed. Yes, really! :o It's heated so it is a sleeveless night gown, cotton preferably, and the heat in the house off. I'm talkin cozy! :D

Probably! I very likely had already my, at that time undiagnosed, sleep apnea, which could have caused me to roll around like a whirlwind. I use a Cpap unit now, and my smart watch monitors my sleep. Now I have long stretches of non moving/REM sleep, but I do not want to go back to a nightgown ever again!
One of my first girl-clothes purchases was a couple of 4-packs of white cotton camis, to swap out for men's t-shirts. I weigh significantly less now, and most of what I wear doesn't require them; so they have become my sleepwear. Camis and panties.
I like to wear a nightdress to bed.
I also have a really pretty one for if I'm away in a hotel or its a special occasion :')
Not worn any night clothes for 50 years so unlikely to change now ;D

Prefer loose fitting, strictly semi-formal male attire
. . . especially when asleep on lazy-boy by the front door! ;D ;)
Like I said if the door-bell rings
SOMEBODY dressed presentable needs to answer it!
Used to work door-to-door sales. How many do housework just in their
underwear? Or less!

I would have them bunched up under my arm pits. I manage to et the t-shirt up there when I wear one. I don't know what I do at night, but I might be doing strip tease as a sleep walker?

Linde,
Maybe you would not have these bunched up under your arms if you no longer toss and turn in bed as much because of your cpap machine helping you, as you mentioned in a prior post.

I use the Cpapa every night, but I still seem to dance in bed. I supervise my sleep with my smart watch, and I get lots of REM sleep!
Last night I had a sleep efficiency of 97%! I still had my t-shirt displaying my boobs in a un-lady like manner to my poor dog (the dog had the sheer horror about that written in her eyes - or it might have been because I did not give her a treat, who knows?)

It was probably because of the lack of a dog treat. :)

Hey Dietlind! They come in a sleeveless too. They are Vanity Fair Colortura nightgowns. They really are as comfy as they look
If it's just me, ;) my favorite is a mid-thigh-length silk night shirt. Very comfortable lounging in while watching TV or reading before bedtime.

Silk is so nice!
I have a pair of silk pants. I need to take them to the dry cleaners for them to look great, but that is okay.

In that case, i would have something without sleeves sitting underneath my arm pits! If it is so warm that I would wear sleeveless, I don't wear anything. As long as I give the dog a fair warning so she can put her paw over her eyes when I climb out of bed without clothing on! Otherwise she might get a shock for her life!
