Title: Embarrassing question....
Post by: MissMollyme on January 18, 2019, 06:48:46 PM
Hi, so for 10 months I used spiro and estradiol and I always been very gassy and umm.....would sometimes have this clear fluid discharge from the butt.... I recently switched to casodex in Hope's this would go away. No I do not have an std but possibly irritable bowel syndrome, bit for 8 out of 10 months? I kinda ruled that out...

I came to the conclusion that it could be my prostate secreting fluid and the only way out is well...

Before I girl up and talk to my doctor, I wanted to see if this was happening to someone else?????

Thanks

.....so embarrassed (hides face)...

It's best to go to the doctor. I had Cdiff last year from being on antibiotics for a sinus infection and an abscess I got from getting a raw spot from wet jeans when working during the summer. I put talcum powder on it which apparently got into a pore and got infected. Anyway, cdiff symptoms started with a clear jelly like substance being excreted from my bowels. I had to go on the strongest antibiotics out there for about 5 months before it finally went away.

I'm not trying to scare you, I'm just saying it's best to go to the doctor when you have something you aren't sure of.

I don't know about the clear fluid, but HRT most definitely changed the way that I flatulate. The fat transfer to my hiney changed the sound, and for quite a while I made really big airy long ones.

With practice you can silence farts. I die of embarrassment if I do a loud fart. If you clench hard and release the fart slowly a little at a time it will not make noise. Unfortunately you must be awake for this to work. Tristan informed he has heard me fart in my sleep. Or as he so eloquently put it " you slap those bitches out when you are asleep Julia ". Of course he had to say this in front of my brother who loved it and was almost rolling on the floor laughing.😡

This is not possible unless you have a tear in your rectum. The prostate and colon are next to each other, but not directly connected.

Before I girl up and talk to my doctor...

Feel free to talk to your doctor anytime you have an unusual discharge from your body. It is almost always easier to treat these conditions in the early stage and do not let them fester.

No need to girl up. Just do it. Everybody else does it, but we generally do not talk about it. Kinda like farting... :embarrassed:

@MissMollyme
Dear Molly:
YES INDEED, you are very correct.... please forgive my eagerness to be always desiring to Welcome members here.

Please let me blame my zealous effort to give you my Official Welcome message on my hormones and the recent server crash here on Susan's Place.... or more than likely my very poor memory !!!

I certainly do remember you as I think about it.  I see now that your joined Susan's Place and made your very first posting on the Forums last year on April 06, 2018.... and that you received an Official Welcome message back then.

Again, please forgive me for being too fast on the trigger to provide you my Welcome Message.
I will be eagerly looking for your future postings as you feel free to share here on the Forums.

Hugs and well wishes,
Danielle
