Title: getting hormone levels to "female" range
Post by: sfbarbie on January 19, 2019, 06:42:41 PM
Hey all,

I have been on hormones since 2012 (though I've not taken them the best, routinely the last year or so) but I've historically been taking <removed by moderator> and <removed by moderator>. I found out from my future GCS surgeon after doing a semen sample (in which the semen was totally normal) that I'm clearly undermedicated (I only grew little bitty boobs like barely AA cup after 2 years - before I got implants).

Prior to the semen sample I had not even thought I was undermedicated, but I spoke with my new endo and she changed me to <removed> and <removed>. I've only been doing this a week, but I'm curious as to how things happened upon initially starting hormones for people taking a similar dose? I've seen girls here say their fat patterns changed, and obviously breasts grow. I'm a little concerned because I have 435cc implants and am around a 36 C/D cup (depending on bra) I'm wondering if they're going to get huge?

I need this body work and hair reduction though, which is why I am doing it. Any thoughts would be appreciated, I know things are different for different people! Thanks

I wasn't aware I couldn't list that so my apologies. Dose doesn't matter basically my doctor doubled what I'm taking but just curious when you start to see effects of therapeutic female ranges of hormones

Breast sensitivity can start in 1-2 months. It could take a year or two before you see much in the way of body changes but remember that females continue to develop into their early 20's depending on genetics. Years of older HRT treatment left me with barely an A cup. Starting with Estradiol moved me into a B cup over the period of a year. Breast development has halted but I appear to still be developing shape below the waist. There is no way  to determine exactly how you  will develop but you can get somewhat of an idea by looking at the women in your family.

My breasts are sensitive for 3+ years now, and I don't know if this is associated with growth or not, because I don't have any obvious growth over the course of the last year.  I have a pretty solid 34 B cup, and my endo told me I should not expect much more.  Both my mother and my sister were definitely well into the D cup range.
I wonder if the comparison with the other women in the family is something to go by, or if it is just another urban type of legende?
