Title: Hi Sisters! <3
Post by: AryaV on January 26, 2019, 04:16:27 PM
Well what can I say, I forgot the login details to my previous account so here I am with a new one to leave a short introduction ;D

I'm Arya! I'm 28 years old, born in Mexico but currently living in german Switzerland with my dear husband. My german is terrible due to being shy and severely dysphoric/agoraphobic but that has begun to change since having VFS.
My hobbies are hiking in the forests, videogames, growing flowers(i've killed quite a few Gardenias though  :embarrassed: ), perfume making. i've always loved to cook but recently got into baking and I can honestly say my gluten free chocolate cakes are so delish xD (I actually copied a recipe but I've been telling family it's my own creation  >:-) ).  I'm not exactly religious, but I am spiritual and believe in reincarnation.

My shyness extends onto the internet, and usually just lurk around but I'm always hoping to make quality friends <3

Much Love <3

Hi AryaV,

Welcome!  I also like to grow flowers and cook.  I remember Gardenias when I grew up but the climate is too cold where I live now to grow subtropical plants.

Hi there, and welcome here!
And don't apologize about your German in Switzerland.  I am a native German, who grew up in Germany, and feel that I hardly understand anything of the language that they call German there!  I have the feeling they don't understand it either, and that is the reason why they use so many French words in their version of German!

They don't do well in the subtropics either.  Considering that Gardenias are something like the German national flower, I was all exited to try them here in the sub tropics of SW Florida.  I failed, they do well in our winters, but just die away during the hot summers.  They just can't stand the heat!

Hi Arya, it nice to meet you.  I'm relatively new so I don't think I've met you yet here yet. I am quite interested in your surgery.  How long did it take for full recovery.  Was there much voice therapy afterwards before attaining a female voice or was it quick?  Has it changed your voice to a voice you expected to hear or completely a different one?  How painful was the recovery?  I am asking a lot of questions but I'm genuinely interested in this.  Feel free to ignore any or all.  Thank you for sharing. Hope to hear more.
