Title: Finaly started HRT 3 weeks ago
Post by: Reme on January 29, 2019, 01:08:01 AM
So after a little over 3 years of appointment hoping, complications and setbacks i finally started HRT. It sucks i couldn't start as soon as i wanted. waiting 3-4 months at a time to see various doctors was terrible. Then more anxiety when lab results don't all come back ok, but at last im here! Idk if its the estrogen, or just being relieved that i don't need to wait anymore but its definitely an improvement. Still on the good side of 27 so lets see how things turn out. On a side note, when people talk about dosage, do they mean how much they take daily? or how much each and every dose is. For example (Using crazy numbers cause i don't think i can mention real doses here) if someone took 400 3 times a day then would they say they take 1200?

I also felt relieved when began estrogen. Could be a the sort of acceptance that we suffer from gender dysphoria or the estrogen itself that reduce it. Idk but I think a lot of us will feel better with e... Also for the quantity taken I am not an expert but from my experience I can tell that using pills I took <dosage removed> a day and I have switched on injections with <dosage removed> a week. I have a friend of mine that use patches and it is <dosage removed> patches a week of 100... Idk the unit. I know there is also estrogel but don't kniw quantities. My point is that it all depends of the taken form.
