Title: Dark circles around the eyes while on HRT
Post by: Eliza C on February 05, 2019, 08:55:06 PM
Hi everyone, I've noticed that many trans women have dark circles around their eyes after a few months on HRT. What's going on? It happened to my friend too! She told me that she wasn't wearing makeup that day. It looks like they're tired and exhausted, but in a glamorous kind of way ya know? Could it be the unconsolable crying stage of HRT?

I'm going on estrogen in a couple of weeks and I want to be prepared. I wonder if I will have it too...

if they take spiro it can be dehydration. Keeping up with the water intake can be tough.

I have come across this too. I have experienced this! I know teenage girls often have this while high estrogen levels are working their magic.

Darkness around the eyes is a strong feminine characteristic.

I have tried to find the science behind this. No luck yet. The phenomenon definitely exists though.

I wonder... what if the "smokey eye" look is based in this phenomenon?
