I noticed that my Vaginal Canal was not within the Inner Labia right after SRS, but I reasoned that it was due to all of the post-op swelling. Now, 7 months later, my Vagina is still below my Inner Labia. Just doesn't look right. Pictures are on my website. Has anyone experienced this abnormality with their surgery? Will a Labiaplasty correct this?

I haven't asked him yet, but I have a follow up appointment in 2 weeks. I kind of hesitate to ask him though, because I don't want to insult his surgery. Hopefully he will mention it himself.

Don't be shy about asking! Every surgeon knows that different bodies heal differently, so he will not be insulted. Surgeons offer follow-ups for precisely this reason.
If you tell him that it is a concern, he will either tell you that it is a result of normal swelling and will correct itself with time, or he will agree that it hasn't healed the way he intended, and you can arrange to have it fixed.
It is really important when dealing with the medical professions (not just for GRS) that patients raise any concerns that they have. Often that is the only way they know that there is a problem.
Thank You and You are absolutely right. I must tell my Doctor, but he should be able to see the abnormality during follow up. If he doesn't mention it then I will, but I really don't want to have to go through a revision surgery. I will though if it's offered.

Nope, mention it right off the bat. Do not wait for the surgeon to mention it, as if you don't, they may assume you are OK with it.. Don't hold back, your surgeon is not a snowflake and if they are, they probably need to move to another specialisation.
And "Hey doc, the location of the entrance to my vagina seems a little off compared to the rest of my vulva." is not an insult, simply a statement of fact.

I do agree with You, but I have looked at other girl's post-op pictures and their's appear to be the same way. Perhaps this is the normal surgical result, but I will ask about it.

Violet, I did review the postop images, and I would have to say your result is very good. No two women are alike, but your current vulva looks like many natal structures.
Could be worse. I could star in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch", with a clitoris who's origin is obvious, as the glans tissue used included the corona. There's no clitoral hood or inner labia, so it's right out there. When I wear pants, I have to wear a 'light days' pad to avoid chafing of the clitoris and meatus. I'm 16 months postop, and a revision is scheduled for next month.
Swelling and tissue changes take many months to finish up and arrive at a final form. Give it time, so any revision can correct issues that haven't shown up yet, and things can settle into their final shape.

I still wear a pad for sleeping and then liners during the day because I am still Dilating 3 times a day. I could probably reduce to twice a day, but I figure more is better when it comes to Dilation. ♥

Violet I also took a look at your pictures and it looks good to me. I have seen many pictures of girls who also have the same appearance as yours. I believe it is just the technique your surgeon used. You might be able to go back after your healed for a cosmetic revision in you are unhappy.
I did take a look at your pictures and I can't see anything out of order. But as everyone said before me you should vent all your thoughts with your surgeon even if no one but you can see it, it's all about you feeling content and comfortable with your result.
Two thoughts on this. First, my own experience (informal survey of one) is that my vagina's overall appearance was still evolving a year later. Second, if you want to feel normal about your vagina go look at the Great Wall of Vagina. I have seen tons of neo vagina first hand from my friends and acquaintances, sad to say this but it is common that our vaginal canal is located just below the inner labia.
However, I have seen some on the internet like supporn girls having canal inside the inner labia. I wish theres a revision available nowadays that can correct ours. Im not saying ours dont resemble the original ones but it would be closer to perfect if we can achieve that
I agree. Hopefully the swelling is hiding my final appearance, but it does look like my canal is beneath the inner labia. I'm still very happy though and I have 100% sensation. Oh well, maybe some kind of revision surgery, or not. At my age surgery is getting riskier by the minute! Thanks for replying hun. ♥

UPDATE - Most of the swelling has gone away, but my vaginal canal is definitely below my inner labia instead of within. I asked my Doctor in a message and will report back here when I get an answer. It just doesn't look right. I am still happy and have no regrets. Please don't misunderstand my complaint as I am very grateful, even if this is my final appearance. I still love my new Vagina!
Many Cis vaginas are just like that. If you can find a copy of the book, Femalia, it is a collection of photos of many, many vulva and they do vary quite a lot.

I did have my revision done, and now what I have is both much more comfortable, and much more typical in appearance. The revision is purely soft tissue work, non-invasive, and the recovery has been pretty easy. Oh, I was sitting on my donut, but that's to be expected.
There's no loss of sensitivity, just some temporarily sore areas around the incisions and stitching. The last of the 'dissolving' sutures are working their way out, after most were clipped and removed a week after surgery.
So, revisions can be done, and can work out OK.
By the way, the original vaginoplasty scars are almost invisible now, at the 17 months postop point. They appear to be at the bottom of natural folds in the skin from what I can find, using a bright light and mirror. I don't think they are easily spotted in more typical bedroom light!
Glad to hear that your surgery was a success! I don't know yet if anything can be done for mine. Nothing looks swollen anymore, but my vaginal canal is under, instead of within my inner labia. Perhaps this is normal? Does not look right to me, but I am still happy overall.
