Title: Only took 45 Years to stop the denial :-)
Post by: Jennifer300 on February 09, 2019, 12:40:32 PM
Hello to all, I have known I was transgender since Kindergarten, it only took another 45 years to stop denying it wasn't going away, and consider moving towards a happier life.   I will write a longer bio soon, but am glad I found a place with kindred spirits.  I have read here a lot over the last few months, had a lot of deep meaningful thoughts on the subject, and am ready to start a few needed conversations.  I have a Dr appointment on Monday to discuss HRT with my Doctor.  More about that in my bio post to come.  Glad to be here, it seems like a very supporting and honest forum to discuss a topic that is not talked about many other places.

Your situation is very common around here.

I was in denial for over 50 years, then a number of events took place almost simultaneously and before you know it, I was all better. I only wish we had today's understanding of our conditions way back when I was a teenager.

Take care and wish you the best.  :-*
