Title: Genuinely gendered correctly
Post by: StacyRenee on February 22, 2019, 12:23:03 AM
I went to the dog park this afternoon to enjoy the warmer weather and let my 7 month old puppy learn to socialize with other dogs. There was a couple there with their young son, I'm guessing about 4 years old. After maybe 20 minutes of letting our dogs play together the boy came up to me to ask a question and addressed me as " Ma'am". Then a few minutes later he went over to tell his mom about what I'd answered he referred to me as "she".

This just made my day. Nothing like being affirmed by a young child that tells it how they see it.

Yay!  Young kids are known to be honest, so you have the definitive verdict.

@StacyRenee
Wow... thank you for posting your wonderful report about getting gendered correctly....  yes indeed, kids call it like they see it ... without all the filters that adults have developed in their lives.

As you continue on in your journey, it just gets better and better!!!!
Thank you again for sharing your affirming and good news with all of us.
Hugs and best wishes to you as always,
