Hi, I am new to this website.
I would sometimes visit without signing in, but I've decided to
make an account for myself now.
I choose to cross-dress most of the time and I'm AFAB.
Recently, I am not liking how my legs look. I don't like
how wide my thighs are and how they look in my jeans.
I know people like me at my school who have smaller legs
and I really envy them. Is there a workout routine or something
that could help my legs not look like this?
I know that testosterone will redistribute fat to other parts
of my body, but I am not going to start that anytime soon and I
wouldn't - that would be bad for me, that's not what I need,
so are there other solutions?

Hello Verklighet,
perhaps some elliptical time or yoga would help tone up your legs.
I hit the treadmill rather frequently as my job is stationary at a computer.
Although I've found diet is my #1 impact on weight : )
Exercise is really good for the legs. A simple way to help get definition is to simply get some ankle weights and use them while your walking around.
Try using them on a treadmill too or just go for walks in hilly areas

I know this is a older post. But yes exercise and weight training do wonders for legs. Hopefully that will get you by till you're able to get on the hormone treatment you need. And then continue to workout legs and you'll soon see even better results.
Honestly if you're looking for more masculine looking legs then I'd hit the weights. I'd start doing a workout routine that's primarily focused on weight training and some cardio (just to stay healthy). But if you look at most men they aren't doing yoga or cross fit routines, they're doing one muscle group a day and hitting the entire body at least once a week. Like chest on Mondays, back on Tuesdays, legs on Wednesdays, shoulders on Thursdays, and arms on Fridays. You could even add an additional leg day on either Saturday or Sunday.
I'm not saying other routines won't get you the results you want, I'm just saying most men follow a bodybuilding routine similar to what I stated above. That's pretty much what I've done for over 24 years. Granted the exercises change here and there depending on what my focus was, but the basic routine as to when I trained what was always the same for the most part.
I have two leg days a week. First leg day is more quad focused. Squats, leg press, hack squats, leg extensions (both single leg and both at the same time) claves and some hamstrings.
Second leg day is more glute and hamstring focused. Leg press with feet higher on the plate form. Glute hip thrusts, lunges, death by leg curl machines (single leg, sitting and laying leg curls) stiff leg dead lifts, glute hamstring tie in raise, some leg extensions to break up the leg curls and some calves.
If all you want is thinner smaller legs than I'd suggest just doing a ton of cardio. Cardio like running is like kryptonite for growing leg muscles. Marathon runners have skinny legs.
I'd post a Picture of what my workout routine has done for my legs but I don't know how to. Lol so just imagine some lean muscular super vascular legs. Lol
@Robbyv213 You'll need to set up a free image hosting account like Imgur. You upload photos there. Then grab the link to your photo to put in your post.
@LoriDee thank you for the info on how to post pictures
It is the exact opposite for me. AMAB and looking for wider thighs I do a lot of squatting and lower body exercise to look feminine with an hourglass figure!
Marion.
There are plenty of lower body exercises that will do different things. Like glute kick backs on the machine or with cables, lateral leg swing or side kicks using cables, more hip and thighs.different foot positions, stances, angles of toes, pushing through your heel or the ball of your foot, all changes things slightly.
Weight training is definitely beneficial. Depending on what your goals are it can help change your body even if it's building more muscle in a specific area to create more curves like a bigger butt or the muscles on the sides of your upper thighs.
I know my leg routine is def not one that builds a more feminine shape. I def need to incorporate more hip and glute movements to build those muscles to create the look of more curves.
Just takes time and consistency, while never giving up on the goal you have in mind. Very much like transitioning.
