Thank you for your wishes,, at least I know I'm not truly alone on these forums. It's just extremely hard atm. I bet when the packing is gone it'll be easier to do things but even with a proper bowel cleansing I've been having leaks and movements on the 3rd and 4 th days
I am about 4 months post op myself and can't imagine not being able to get assistance in the first week post surgery sounds like no fun at all. I bet that is a bit scary. You mentioned there will be a nurse in to see you...how long until that happens? How about something like Uber or the local equivalent? Just thinking out loud don't know if there is one.

I cant move much before wanting to black out. The more I rest though the longer I can last moving around that said the distance ide hafta walk alone with full packing even more a can would be too much. Supposed to be hotel ridden for a bit. Should have a nurse tommorow
I was immobile for 4 days and only on day 4 was I allowed to stand...I did make it down the hallway but was totally exhausted so I can't even imagine venturing out to a shop to pick up supplies. What I meant was is there a taxi service or uber service that might actually pick up the stuff you need and deliver it to you?
They seem to. I've never used grocery delivery in the states even so it never crossed my mind. I'll see if I can se it up to goto hotel and get around the language barrier. That said haven't an ally would still help me profusely during these early days.
