I am considering trying out mtf front smoothing gaffs as they may be helpful when wearing close fitting clothing.
Have you used a gaff? What are some good and bad things about them? Any good sources for them, if they are allowed to be mentioned? Any particular models or makes of them that you like, and why?
Thank you.
Chrissy
Hi Chrissy - Yeah I used gaffs before my orchie I found them on a crossdressing site that used to be called 'suddenly fem' I think they changed the name cuz I still get marketing emails although I haven't bought anything in a few years.
The new name might be "en femme"? I don't really pay attention to the emails.
Anyway.... yeah they work pretty well but have realistic expectations. That area is not going to be 'exactly' the same as if you had nothing there. But it helps.
There are also videos on you tube about 'tucking'. Also sort of helpful. I remember about 15 years ago getting a little carried away with duct tape. YIKES. Don't injure yourself. If you want to get rid of it I recommend a surgeon. :D
But in the mean time - yeah gaffs can help. Just don't damage anything.
I don't use gaffs anymore. With my testicles gone the bulge is smaller and as someone pointed out to me -
'if someone is looking down there it is their problem"
As long as you are not too big they will work. Give it a shot why not.
I bought from suddenly fem on eBay and they are pretty and work. I would like it if they were softer but they have a job to do and do a good job.
edit: I bought the thong ones, but the others are probably more comfortable.
I'm not transgender as in MtF, but have very warm feelings for the term neutrois.
When the dysphoria has hit me I used my tight boxershorts(male) to forget what I had down there. Last month I ordered some female undies cos the shorts is'nt enough(too much space).
My solution is right size boxers(tight fited) and one size smaller in Craft Greatness hipster(which I use reversed(front to back) or Waistband Boxer.
The Craft - Greatness Waistband Boxer in the right size, would be perfect when sleeping.
Thank you for these ideas for smoothing out the lower front area.

So nice to read this, Kim. I'm planning to get an orchie over the summer and it would be a relief to know my "bulge" is smaller. And I loved this line - 'if someone is looking down there it is their problem" - yes! :)
Amie
I use a gaff daily I've bought a set of them daily to rotate laundry batches... I found them on Leolines...
Works greats but they're not cheap... but on the plus side you get to choose your style!
