It is getting pretty warm here in south western Florida. For about a week no, we have temps around 90º F.
And wearing a bra is not really comfy anymore, no matter what they promise in the advertising (I have 3 bras telling me they are made with bamboo derived rayon, and would be so airy, but they are simply warm!)
My breasts are still perky enough to be sported without a bra, but I have those constant erect nipples that try to poke people into their eyes!
I ordered stick on nipple covers from Amazon and wonder how they work over time. Today is my first day of trying them, and i would be really great if those things work!
How do you ladies handle hiding your nipples without adding the discomfort of a bra?
Dietlind, have you tried a light weight sports bra, as you don't need the support as much as covering and protecting your nipples.

For nipple protection and covering, consider trying the inexpensive nursing pads from WalMart.
Wearing flannel helps me to cover the nipples up, but that might make you too warm at the air temperature that you mentioned. :)

The tings were great when I was still cool, but once the temps really hit, and my boobies started to sweat, those things went south, I just caught them because thy were clinging to y top!

Hi, I have 555 cc implants partially under the muscle and I only wear a sports bra. I have pierced nipples so only in the gym are they slightly visible with high support sports bras and a top.
Florida humidity will prolly make those pasties sweat right off. You might just want to find a light, airy, breathable bra.

For the rest of the day I wen without bra, I really don't care if people see nipples or not! I did the sports bra thing, and I still sweat in them!

Well the point is that you will mostly likely sweat at 90 degrees and warmer with or without a bra, more likely with a bra. So consider wearing a light bra to cover up your nipples and wash the bra more often in the warmer months.
You could wear a camisole to help cover up your nipples. If it was a tight fitting camisole, such as a body shaping camisole, you might also be able to have the camisole hold in place the nursing pads next to your nipples, further concealing your nipples, and perhaps also gathering sweat too! :)

Let me introduce you to Haulover Beach here in Miami. This is the only legal nude beach in Florida. Yes there are many nudist camps and a few unofficial nude beaches, but Haulover is the place to visit to be natural.
If it is really hot and sweaty outside, I just go braless and I usually where a soft cotton t-shirt or jump in a swimming pool or stay indoors with the air conditioning on full blast. 8)

I have relatives in Florida. At 90, it feels worse than 110 in West Texas. It's not about the heat. It's the humidity. Step outside an air conditioned house, and it feels like walking into a sauna.

I plan to do that, too. I have some shirts tops that have breast pockets, and the double layer of fabric is OK to reduce the presence of the little guys!
I also find bras can be uncomfortable in hot, sticky weather. I guess it's just something we have to put up with. While I can currently get away without a bra, now that I've started HRT I hopefully will soon be too big for that. :)

I find spritzing myself with a water spritzer for plants helps, spray a bit up the shirt lol.
I used to try to not wear a bra as a kid but oh man, lemme tell ya,the nipple chaffing is SO not worth it (mine would BLEED)
You can wear a little tank top with an inbuilt support, I have a few somewhere, They have like an extra flap of fabric that's tight and stretchy and sort of straps you down without a bra but that's still an extra dang layer of fabric.

It's so dumb that breasts are somehow super offensive to people unless they have a baby sucking on em. Women deserve to be cool in the summer too dangit!
I feel for ya girls, I know this misery oh too well. I'm dreading the summer where i have to make a call between strappin' the girls down under a sports bra (can't wear a binder sadly) or wearing a lighter regular bra and having big ol' flesh lumps ruining the line of my shirts hah. Either way i'm gonna be HOT and grumpy.
I highly reccomend carrying that spritzer bottle. I struggle to regulate my body temperature so the spritzer bottle is essential to me not passing out from heat stroke even when i'm near nude.
If you feel secure enough in your body to do it, exposing your stomach can help cool you off too. Tie that blouse up into a cute little Daisy Duke thing heh.
I tell ya, I look forward to a day I can whip my shirt off in public and not be arrested lol.
Linde, two suggestions! F_P_M mentioned one, the shelf bra. It's a tank top with the extra fabric up top only. I like mine. The other suggestion is my fav. I just tape the nipples with a small piece of blue, medical tape from the drug store. Works great! It's cheap and only slightly uncomfortable when peeling them off at night. It's the coolest way I know. Don't know if there is a topless beach in Maryland Delaware area. Hey @Rachel we should meet at the topless beach!

Living near the beach, I see quite a few big boobs that are not covered, they just happen to be attached to the chest of a person looking like a guy. I assume they are moobs, and are thus OK, nobody cares. If the same boob carrier would look like a female, the cops would chase her up and down the beach to give her a ticket for indecent exposure! Which shows that it is not the boobs that are offensive, it is our dirty fantasy that make them that way!
In most native societies in third world countries, the females have their breasts uncovered, because they have not become an object of sexual desire there. I bet those women have the same feeling in their boobs (some are very sensitiv, others are not), as the women in western societies, but their boobs are not seen as sexual objects, just as some body part attached to the chest of a female.
Where did our culture go wrong to make the boobs of western women almost like an extension of her genitalia?
Being not concerned if people see my nipples pocking through a top, makes me almost feel lucky that i was socialized as a male, and was not raised as a person who has to hide body pats that have nothing to do with their genitalia.
As a European, it always makes me wonder why even little girls, who have nothing different on their chest than little boys, are forced to wear something like a bra when they play in the sand on the beach!

Thanks Moni! I did not even think about the tape! I have all kinds of medical tape laying around here, and I think paper tape may be the best because it has the most gentle skin adhesive while still allowing air exchange.
I will try that, go bra less but also nipple less!

Looking at the article, it shows that specifically the US considers the uncoverd female breasts to be an indecent exposure. I bet these laws were made (like many similar ones) by horny old men who used them as another tool of female suppression!

I had a BA and have 555 cc implants partially under the muscle. My doctor said I could go braless sometimes. I know 555 sounds really large but in reality I can still see the implant scar, they have not dropped to cover it.
So you may want to just go bra-less and just tape the nipples. Maybe just do it on hot and humid days.
There are some hot and humid days I am so very glad I did not go larger.

The CC amount does not mean very much for me, I relate to breast dimensions by cup and the related bandwidth size. This way I can form a picture of the boob in my mind.
I tied the tape thing today, but don't want to do that again, because my nipples are very sensitive, and it hurt some taking the tape off!

I go braless because the cohesive gel types don't seem to need as much support. That's a 36 DD or a 38D, and it isn't really a problem. If you peel the tape away from your body yeah it sucks. I peel it back over itself and it doesn't pull the nipple. It's all in the wrist. I'm so happy to have boobs, who cares about a little sweat anyway. Linde, go north for the summer! :)

I do go north, but it is not even close to summer, and the temps are already in the 90's!
So your boobs would be a 40 C, and that is what I want; currently I am a good 40 B. One size more, and I will be happy!

I live here at the Gulf of Mexico, in the subtropics, with year round beach activities. When I see the snowbirds coming in the winter, and sporting their white bodies at the beach, I can see some moobs that can easily comped with my girls, some seem to be even bigger. But the difference is that those big moobs are sported on a nearly as big body ( to be polite, otherwise I would say ft), and their nipples are rather small and pointing down toward the center of the earth.
I think the careful observer can see the difference between same size boobs and moobs. I don't know if the cops or other supervising authorities would be such careful observers to see the difference?
Once you are legally a guy, you might be able to test the waters, telling any cop, but Mr. Policeman, can't you see that these are moobs, because guys like I don't have boobs!
