Hi, Isabelle!

Welcome to Susan's Place.

One of the more common effects of HRT is a reduction of "morning wood".

Please feel free to stop by the Introductions forum (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,8.0.html) to tell the members about yourself.  Here is some information that we like to share with new members:

While results vary by individual I can say that with six months HRT that mine have not been affected.  My desire has slowed somewhat but my little guy is ready and able anytime.

Hi, if your T is suppressed very low and on sufficient transition dosages of E your prostate will eventually atrophy. Erections will become difficult and then when obtained painful.

We are all so very different that none of us can readily predict what you may experience.  We can share what happened with us tho....  After the first few months on HRT morning boners were gone and other "woody" events were rare for me.  I know of folks who have rarely or never experienced an erection after being on HRT.

Having been on HRT for many years I'm still functional with appropriate stimulation and my little shenish remains a part of my pleasure.

At 7 months atrophy has occurred and erections are painful. Just to help you with your expectations.

Yes morning wood will reduce very soon on HRT. My personal experience is that the compelling desire to find sexual release will fade. The enjoyment and ability to perform will remain but a take it or leave it approach is possible.
