I was shopping at my favorite place, Amazon and I came across something they do called Amazon smile. A small (very small) portion of your purchase is given to a charity. I was curious and typed in "Transgender" and found that they have a list that is about 11 pages long of transgender groups, legal funds, homeless shelters, outreach programs and more, many are state specific but some are national transgender programs. I thought I would mention it here since Amazon is a pretty convenient way to get apparel and stuff we need without having to brave a visit to an actual store.
I don't want anyone to mistake this as a solicitation to shop Amazon or anything that goes against the forum rules. If you are already using them and you feel inclined to look at the Amazon Smile donation thing why not direct that small bit to go to something that matters to all of us.
Thank you for moving this to the proper category. I kinda struggled on deciding where it should go.
Best regards,
Bea
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have checked and I can confirm this system applies to UK also and lists 36 UK trans charities.
