Hello!
In my soon to be well established pattern, here is a thread after a personal realization. I have been having some hard core cravings of late, and wondering if this was just a "me" thing.
While I still can't see, type, or think about dill pickles without salivating (or salt for that matter), right now the "OMG leave the house at 02:30 in the morning to get some" craving is wax or banana peppers. Not just the peppers either. The brine those little bombshells are floating in is also fair game.
What tickles your taste-buds these days?

@Ricki WrightDear Ricki:Definitely Dill Pickles .... for over 5 years I have had a severe craving, but even well before transitioning I always liked Dill Pickles. ......... peppers, not so much, unless they are mild.

I'm six months on HRT and I crave fried egg sandwiches for breakfast and M&M Peanut strangely after dinner with red wine.

@Emma1017 OH, YES...Olives... black olives and green olives.. and Dill Pickles... and potato chips, salted nuts... and yes to Peanut Butter slathered on Ritz Crackers. .....

Flag on the play! Bacon is not a craving. It is a lifestyle, as in if you wish to live life in style: eat bacon :) Lots of wonderful, warm, crunchy, bacon.....bacon....

Let us not forget about chocolate..... I am a cheap chocolate date.... Hershey bars and Snickers are my favorites. Of course a Payday candy bar... the salty nuts is pretty good too.

I woke up yesterday with a craving for pizza. I mean I thought about it the entire day...and am still thinking about it now for the record. But not just any pizza, I want one of those Hunt's Brothers pizzas. So far I've kept myself from going out to get one. I sure hope this craving passes soon! It would ruin the diet that I've been strictly sticking to.

I can gain two pounds just looking at a snickers bar in the check out, and not in any of the good places either!!! It's a love/hate relationship.

I've never liked pickles.
Somewhere around the 4 to 6 month range of HRT, I'm at 10 now I got a serious case of the munchies and was craving pretty much anything. I put on 15 pounds in a second so I did some research and yes the second puberty munchies/cravings are a real thing. It sounds like the reports from some you ladies that these stick around. That's ok but it just makes my diet harder as I have managed to knock off 12 of the 15 pounds. I never really was a big snacker before but OMG I can munch for hours.

Some cheesecake with blueberries and whipped cream.
Got some chocolate bars and hot chocolate today so that took care of that craving.

I get the "need something sweet" munchies after eating my dinner. Only problem is I have nothing like that to eat just to stop myself!!

My nutritionist says not to deny. It causes control problems. So we keep a cookie jar of smaller sweets, like peanut butter cups, Ghirardelli chocs, bite size candy bars, etc. One or may be two later in the evening keeps us from bingeing.
I do have a choc bar on standby normally, ran out the other day.

For over the last few months it has been extra/vintage matured cheddar cheese and tamari. I raid the fridge constantly for the cheese eating large chunks at a time. And the tamari I pour some into a small shot glass and drink it. I am wondering is it salt my body wants? And it's a tasty way to get it in.
I do not eat bacon.
