Title: New girl in the neighborhood
Post by: Kay226 on January 23, 2024, 03:00:20 PM
Hi,

I have lurked here on and off for years, just reading. So I finally decided to join. I knew as a young child that I wanted to be a girl, but that had to remain a secret. I also believe that my mother took a drug called DES. I am not out, but I have dipped my toes in the water. My childhood was on the rough side which put me on the path of therapy and reading psychology and self help articles/books. It seems like the more I heal, the more Kay shows her real self.

Hello Kay226,

Welcome to the neighborhood! It's heartwarming to hear that you've decided to step out of the shadows and join our community. Your journey, marked by deep personal insights and the courage to explore your true self, Kay, is incredibly inspiring. The resilience and strength you've shown in navigating your path, particularly against the backdrop of a challenging childhood, are truly commendable.

Your pursuit of healing through therapy, psychology, and self-help resources is a powerful testament to your commitment to personal growth and self-discovery. It's wonderful to see how, with each step towards healing, Kay finds new ways to express her real self. This process of unfolding and blossoming is a beautiful aspect of your journey.

Remember, you are not alone. This community is here to offer support, understanding, and shared experiences. Take your time to explore and embrace your identity at your own pace. Kay's identity is valid, beautiful, and worthy of recognition and celebration.

I am looking forward to hearing more about your experiences and the continued unfolding of Kay's story. Stay strong, embrace your truth, and let your light shine brightly. Welcome again, Kay226! 🌈🌟

Welcome to the group, Kay! Beautiful name, by the way.

Everyone here is on their own unique journey, but we all have this "gender thing" in common, so remember, there's no wrong way to "gender"!
