Would you drink iced coffee? Supposedly,in many areas it sells more than hot coffee.
Plus I heard that iced coffees are often made cold, it is not hot coffee that is chilled.
However iced tea is often brewed hot, then iced or cooled down, then served with ice.
Chrissy
No, just no. Personally coffee is isn't coffee unless it comes from Colombia... and is hot. Fruity. And yummy! Iced coffee is an utter travesty! :P
I drink iced coffee all the time, year round. It's a Boston thing.
BTW iced coffee is hot coffee that's been chilled. Cold brew is coffee brewed cold, which is delicious.

This makes no sense to me... you wouldn't put a fillet steak in the freezer after it had already been cooked?

It's all a matter of taste. A real Bostonian will line up for an iced at Dunks when it's 15 below... I can't explain it but I like it. Cold brew is sublime when done well.
I cannot even begin to understand the tastebuds you have over there... but I am a massive coffee advocate whatever gets y0u through, I am good with :) Even if you deep fry coffee! ;D

Jenn,
Again you grace our Web pages here with interesting tidbits. Thank you.
I heard there are Legal Seafood restaurants near you, which makes me chuckle to think if there were Illegal Seafoods. Probably there is a story behind this. Maybe a lawyer opened the restaurants way back when, or it opened near a courthouse. Perhaps you know!

Deep fried coffee has to be a Texas thing.
hard pass for me
What is the difference between mocha and coffee? Yes, I can online search for the answer I suppose but someone here is likely an expert and can tell us first hand information about this. If I do not see a post about this I will research and post an answer.
I bought a mocha Frappuccino after someone insisting it was not coffee flavored. It ended up tasting a lot like coffee to these unsophisticated taste buds of mine.
Chrissy
I don't care for cold coffee. I like mine hot and black, and thick enough to hold up a spoon so it closely resembles mud.
I'm still thinking about deep-fried coffee. Maybe if it was battered properly, (not tempura).

LOL you are legit my spirit animal.
Iced coffee is like iced tea. It has all the sugar in the world.
For me, it has to be hot, and it has to be Colombian
Iced coffee is popular here in S. Korea, especially in summer. I mostly drink cold coffee at home and workplace. In the US, I liked canned Starbucks in the refrigerator of convenient store.
On the contrary, Chinese people boil beer to drink like hot tea. Chinese visiting S. Korea are surprised that most Koreans drink cold water.
Cheers,
barbie~~
Water temperature water does not seem to be as refreshing to me as cold water.
I hear in Europe you usually have to ask for ice for water.
I also heard the colas served from fountains do not have much carbonation, you have to ask for the bubbles.
I mean who wouldn't want one of these?
I make pour over coffee (I use a bodum with hario filters), pour the leftover in to a pitcher in the fridge.. and on lazy mornings, iced coffee.

re-read of a book about a well known Grateful Dead show very optional.
I am not too adventurous with food and drink so I do not think I would want iced coffee or cold brew. But do enjoy it!
Chrissy
I do not enjoy coffee, warm or cold. I don't even like the smell of coffee. The closest I ever get to coffee is a little Kahlua and Bailey's Irish Cream blended with vanilla ice cream. The most awesome milkshake ever!

Green Eggs and Ham? Would you eat green eggs and ham?
:)

I get it, coffee is not everyone's cup of -er- coffee is not everyone's thing.
Do you keep a pitcher of sweet tea around? bonus points if you own a tea pan.
I am curious!
~Jenn
No, I'm not a tea person either. However, Susan likes coffee, iced coffee, tea (hot or cold), and sweet tea. We don't have a tea pan, but we have quite a few tea kettles. There is always a tea kettle with water ready to go on our gas stove.
So, what do I drink with breakfast? Diet Coke! Sometimes orange juice if nothing else is available.

I would eat the ham and pass on the green eggs. I prefer my eggs to be basically yellow and white.

Apparently mocha is a chocolate flavored coffee.

Coke Zero Sugar tastes odd, I don't like it. My morning caffeine source is Diet Coke.

Actually, I do! I've been trying to back off of soda a bit, I usually drink flavored water with lunch. Something like 'Splash' grape or wild berry flavor.

I will just drink water, good water. NYC water tastes really good, might be nice to move there for the water!
