Do you like wearing skorts?
Very short miniskirts are now basically skorts.

I wear long skorts that fall just above the knee.
Yes, I love skorts! My current faves are coming from Vuori.
It is skorts weather again!
Unfortunately, they are a bit too short and not right for wearing at work. But the weather is cooperating.
I have a dark blue skort and a pink skort.

I'm not sure if they are a skort, but I got a couple of really flowy shorts the other day (a leopard print pair and a black pair). The flowiness gives them that skirt look. I'm wearing the leopard print one to work today (where I plan to send an email letting them know about my transition) and from what I can tell it falls in the length for skirts for work.

I am truly hoping all goes well for you. This is very encouraging for some of us to hear. 🫂 Annaliese

Flowing can provide a nice look. Yes the skirt look is desired with skorts. Otherwise, just wear standard shorts. A shorter inseam is typical for many of our shorts as compared to men's shorts, but they can have just as long an inseam too.
If you have nice looking legs then a shorter inseam for shorts may be just the thing to wear, in the appropriate settings. But a skort, looking like a skirt, can be short also. Lady golfers wear often skorts when they play golf. And if the wind blows it upwards, things are covered up!

well no one complained about the leopard print one, and some even thought that it was a skirt that I was wearing. I'll be wearing the black one tomorrow.
I had literally no idea what Skorts were until reading this thread. That's a word I've literally never heard in my little corner of the UK.

Well I wore the black one today, and someone apparently thought that the fabric of the short was too loose and when I was in the freezer, the breeze from the fans apparently cause the back of my shorts to flap up high enough at one point to give them a show. So I've been asked to not wear them anymore.
Nancy,
You might want to try some culottes.
Not a skort, shorts, or skirt. But you might like them. There are many pictures online.
