I feel like I need to make threads like this because... every time I come here, I am amazed by the depth of character of people who use this site.
So I want to thank everyone who keeps this place going. You know who you are... not mentioning names
@Lori Dee and
@Sarah B. ;)
Also...
@Northern Star Girl Thank you for what you're doing here. <3
The unsung heroine of the site though...
@Chrissy Ryan.
Thank you all. <3
Hi Sephirah You certainly know how to make one blush before I have even finished my cup of coffee. :embarrassed: :embarrassed: :embarrassed:
You think you are going to be unscathed by this? Not on your 'nelly'. So without further ado, "I am amazed by the depth of wisdom, character, knowledge and sincerity of Sephirah who provides guidance to people who use this site, in the hour of their need"
Oh and thank you for the compliment.
Love and HugsSarah BOfficial Greeter@Sephirah
Love you, Sarah. You are probably my favourite Aussie, just ahead of Ian Smith, lol. Keep being you. <3

I want to see more of the sheer majesty and almost mystical vistas the geology of this world has, Lori. You are best placed to do this. Think of me as the Andy DuFresne of Susan's, lol. Fascinated by rocks. <3
Sephirah,
I would also go as far saying as you do a lot as a member around here too. Sometimes one of the most important things is simply providing info or helping someone sort something out. Hugs

Jessica_Rose is my hero.
All of staff is good too.
Well, of course they are wonderful.
Agreed on Sephirah.

Love you honey but no I don't really do anything. Chrissy is right. Jess, is a massive force for this site. She puts forward her experience but never pushes it onto people. She is the summer breeze you never forget. Gently nudging people... that's the kindest of souls. :)

Now I'm blushing. Thank you Christine and Sephirah. I try to stay in the background most of the time. I'm not nearly as eloquent as many others are, and it takes me longer than most to craft appropriate responses. Sometimes I just hear a cry in the darkness which touches my soul, and I must respond.
No only did this site save my life, but it helped me become a much better person.
Each of us have life experiences, and words, which can help others. I thank all of you for the lives you have touched, and for the lives you have saved through the years.
Love always -- Jess
That is one things I tried to do, especially historically, was take my time to craft a response unique and personal to what is being shared or asked. I'm glad you do take that time to craft those responses. Hugs

Hi Everyone Ian David Stockley Smith MBE (born 28 February 1957) is a New Zealand cricket and rugby commentator and former cricketer. He played as a wicket-keeper for New Zealand throughout the 1980s and part of the 1990s. [1]
I assume you meant this person, Sephirah? Or was it this person?
Ian Douglas Smith GCLM ID (8 April 1919 – 20 November 2007) was a Rhodesian politician, farmer, and fighter pilot who served as Prime Minister of Rhodesia (known as Southern Rhodesia until October 1964 and now known as Zimbabwe) from 1964 to 1979.
English cricketers huh? They could not hit themselves out of a wet paper bag.

He was a legend in Aussie soap opera.

We Brits had a massive soft spot for the guy. :)

Brit culture, is not the same as Aussie culture. We are two people who got up on different sides of the bed. <3
Hi Everyone I was never into the shows by 'Ian Smith", in fact I don't like them at all. As for the British versions like 'Coronation Street' and 'Eastender's', I lump them all in the same basket. Trash.
So, that's why I never knew this 'Ian Smith', I never watched the shows he was in.

Uhh, he wasn't in either of those? I had to go trawling through the seedy underbelly of the internet to find this out...
I don't disagree with you, they are all soap operas
You have to watch "Prisoner Cell Block: H"... it's the second most famous Aussie soap opera.
Hi Sephirah I was referring to 'Ian Smith' in 'Neighbors' and 'Prisoner'. Not any other TV drama.
Does that make sense? Me watch Prisoner? Never.

I had a thing for "Prisoner cell block H" back in my Navy days. It was one of the few shows we had access to. Every time I hear "He used to give me Roses..." I get legit goosebumps, lol.
OK I am really, really late but it sounds like we need a:
Group Hug!!!
It's a honor to be among such wonder ladies!
Hugs, Emma!
It's a sweet thread, Sephirah. I've made it clear many times in the past how much value ChrissyRyan brings to Susan's, but I'll say it again: CR rocks!
Think happy!
