In thinking of your own beauty...
What body part or area or characteristic of yours would you like to be changed?
That is, would you perhaps like to be
Taller or shorter?
Thinner or not as thin?
Heavier or lighter?
Curvier?
Nicer face?
Prettier eyes or brows?
Boob size different from what they are?
Hip size different?
Butt shapelier?
Hair different?
Voice different?
Less or more muscular?
Oh, the list goes on.... What is your wish for a change, if any?
I fully realize that many transitioners have struggles with their appearance and other
things that would perhaps affect their personal desires, passing ability, and acceptance.
I wish everyone that is having any of those issues the best success in addressing
and changing the areas that they wish to have done.
After many years of successfully living as "Danielle" ...
...I am not planning to change anything, I enjoy good acceptance now,
why would I want to mess with that? ...
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
...plus I don't wish to buy new clothes if I changed by
body size. ::)

Clothes can be costly!
Chrissy
My biggest issues are needing electrolysis on my face and neck, and definitely bottom surgery. I think if I could get those two checked off my list, I would be content.
Ideally, I would like slightly wider hips and bigger boobs and butt, but with recent changes in my meds, I am ok with waiting to see what Nature will give me. If nothing changes in those areas, I can still be happy with what I have so I won't take action to change those.
Certainly clothes are costly, but to appear how one wishes to appear
might have a much bigger
personal price tag.

You know that was so true many times during my ongoing transition Danielle.
Lots of personal costs and hurts. A man who desires to appear as a woman remarks and personal and professional avoidance.
Body modification to the extreme can be unhealthy and that is another type of personal cost.

^You know you need change nothing. Your smile is so so so attractive!
My brain, lol.
Everything else... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It really is. You can spend a lifetime hating parts of yourself that the one special person in your life will find the most exquisite. I think I am Frankenstein's Monster, but even in the movies, someone loved that.. so there's hope for everyone, right? :)
Beauty is a reflection in the mirror of someone else's eyes. Not something we really have any control over.
@Sephirah Dear Sephirah:Exactly the right reply.... also the thing that is needed is self-acceptance,
if we can not accept ourselves, how can we hope that others will accept us.
We are own worst critics. For some of those having difficulties liking how
they appear it might be best to stay away from cameras and mirrors until they achieve
self-acceptance.
Again Sephirah, your comment reply is right on. Thank you for sharing and posting.HUGS, Danielle [Northern Star Girl]

You are 50 shades of gorgeous, Danielle. ;D But I get what you're saying. Thank you. <3
My hips/bottom. I have about another 5 pounds to lose. My waist is getting to where I want it and that 5 lbs will do it. If my bust keeps going the way it is, it will be where I want it in about another year. (Of course I'll probably want more by then, :D lol.)
Most of my women's jeans are high waist and if my hips/bottom would put on a few inches I'd fill out my current cloths a little better. At that point my body would have a more feminine appearance. Aside from having broad shoulders and being 6' tall.
Everything above my shoulders, well there's a lot to wish for there. It's going to take some real work and I'm not ready to go there yet. Sometime down the road
Like Danielle, I accept my body as it is. Sometimes I wish I have boobs, but I do not dislike my flat chest in the mirror. I sometimes walk topless on the beach (a few curious bystanders do try to approach me). Some women have flat chests for various reasons, including medical reasons.
The girth size is my priority. I run and diet to decrease it, and it is now 28 inch (71 cm). With a BMI of 18.5, I do not think I can decrease it further. I am considered to be tall even as a man here (184 cm or 6 feet), but nobody thinks it hinders passing. My height is actually an advantage in presenting as a woman.

Cheers,
barbie~~
Hip area, I have not complained about it yet and my husband has noticed it. Said he loves me the way I am still and he is right.

LOL!
Why would you want to change your brain? You have a lot of good thought shared here, and that takes a good brain to produce.
By the way, you are no monster, that is impossible.

Hehe. Halloween, and one very tight corset is needed to pull that look off. Keep it as it and use it if you want, as it will not be up for long before it is changed!
Well why not for one day or night. If it could be my everyday natural figure, well, good bye transition completion fence sitting.
Of course that AI modified picture I occasionally post is another one that is too good to be real.

Well, I have the hair so far. Got a long ways to go for the rest of that look. ;D

I hear you. For me too; but, my natural hair is not that long. I can play around with long hair wigs for that look though.

Voice I was a smoker and heavy drinker for many years. I have a harsh growly voice with a strong Lancashire accent.
I put a lot of weight on round my middle after retirement from hotel house keeping. Would like to be slimmer
Had some hair thinning due to steroids and penicillin and antibiotics for bronchitis. Not a problem yet as it is slowly regrowing.

I never thought an accent was a factor. I have a neighbor from Scotland with a strong accent and sometimes I have trouble understanding her.
A deep, harsh, growly voice is something that we worry about. But it can be so sexy too. I always thought Brenda Vaccaro had a sexy voice. There are others too.

Quite a few Americans had trouble understanding Chib's Scottish accent in Sons of Anarchy, a few even thought he was Irish!
