Do you wear flannel when it starts getting cooler?
I realize that some Americans might think that flannel is all that we wear here in Canada, but I don't. I find it too hot to wear, even in winter.
Been wearing them for years. Love flannel shirts

No, I love the cold. That's the best time of year for me. I wear T-shirts on Christmas Day (apologies to you Southern Hemisphere folks where Christmas is in summer... how does that even work?) I love the cold. I hate heat. Hot, and sun, no... Lauren is sad. Come Autumn (Fall), I am much happier. I love the dark, and cold. Spring makes me sad. :P
I don't do well with heat, and light. Anything over like 17 celsius, and if I have to wear sunglasses when I open the curtains... I think I am part vampire, lol.

I am the exact opposite. I am a desert rat, raised in the California desert. If it's hot, I can always cool off. But when I get cold, it takes forever for me to warm up. The winter of 1984, we were doing Winter Warfare training with our tanks. I got frostbite on my face. I think it took two years to shake the chill out of my bones.

I have started to wear my flannel nightgowns. Not on warm nights. Feels really nice in the early morning before work too. Nice and warm.

<3 I did arctic training for the navy, they shoved us into an ice hole in the arctic circle. I was like.. erm... I have to get out? I thought it was quite nice, lol.
Differences make us unique. Just don't ever come to my house and expect natural sunlight, lol. <3 I have massive respect for people who can do the whole desert thing, because I know I never could.

I would love to have long straight hair as in your avatar. It is achieved only with a wig. Sigh.
Then again I would love to have long straight hair with big curls. That can be very attractive if styled right.

I have naturally curly hair. Don't hate me, ladies. I use a flat iron to smooth out the curls for straight hair and reduces the frizz.

Curly is attractive, Chrissy. You can get industrial grade "stuff" to make it either way... but never be ashamed of how your hair is, okay? Curly is attractive, and something people will pay a lot of money to achieve. I've done both. My hair is naturally curly. I have tortured myself with straightners. You iron your hands more than you iron your hair. Honey... embrace you. This is just an avatar. <3
I like the variety us women can have. Some looks take more effort, I agree to be happy with what you have.
I have noticed that some women with straight hair wished they had curly hair.
I have also noticed that some women with curly hair wished they had straight hair.
I guess that trying something different with your hair is a very common desire.

Live up to yourself. Never try to live up to anyone else. That way you will never be disappointed. :)

Yes. That is right.

Yeah this is a thing mostly among Asian women. Japanese and Chinese women all want the curly hair of US women because, for whatever reason, they have arrow straight hair most European and US women would die for. It's weird that way. Just be you.

Must be in our genes.

I did the whole straight hair thing. My hair is very, very long. It cost a small power plant in straightening irons. Not worth it. Trust me... so not worth it. Embrace the curls! :P
Okay, we have 7 posts about flannel and 10 about curly hair. Do we need to rename this post? ???
I'm a summer desert rat too. It's never too hot. But I don't wear flannel when it gets cold. No flannel shirts or night gowns and I can't sleep in flannel sheets. :)
I did own/wear flannel shirts at one time in my life but it was short lived.
There are chemical hair straighteners too.
Okay, who else likes to wear flannel?
I wore a flannel long sleeve shirt today and a skirt. It is less of a business attire day today so I enjoyed the more relaxed look. It's a warm shirt too.
Chrissy
It is a flannel day, chilly.
Should start up the fireplace.
Too cold for flannel shirts here. Long sleeved T shirt, fleece, hoody, lined pants gloves and puffs parka

Kim,
Sounds even warmer and better!
