Title: Spam text messages
Post by: ChrissyRyan on September 12, 2024, 07:46:37 AM
I seem to be receiving more spam text messages.  I mark them as spam then delete them.

These text messages are annoying!

Do you get spam text messages too?

I've been getting some annoying spam text from a certain political party, whose candidate was the equivalent of a dumpster fire at the recent debate. I block those ASAP.

Any unwanted text messages are annoying.

Sometimes I receive multiple reminders for medical or dental appointments.  I suppose some people are forgetful and need them.  I never have forgot an appointment.  While I can see one reminder a good thing, three for the same appointment is over the top!

Very informative.  Keeps you informed in a timely manner of the delivery status of your item.
Lots of contacts though with you.

This usually comes via email for me though, not text messages.

At a recent debate both participants lied or misrepresented.

When someone knows that something is a lie and repeats it, that is wrong, shame on him or her.

When someone says something is a lie but actually is the truth and misrepresented as a lie, and they know it, shame on him or her.

This behavior is wrong but unfortunately if such statements are made often enough, many people believe them.  Also I think some politicians believe that it is okay to lie or misrepresent if it helps them to get elected.

Such a sad state of affairs.
